Clean Air Act or R.A. 8749
The Clean Air Act, otherwise known as Republic Act (R.A.) No. 8749, describes the requirements for a comprehensive air pollution control and management program for the Philippines. RA 8749, enacted on June 23, 1999 and took effect on July 17, 1999, envisions a multi-sectoral participatory approach to the achievement and maintenance of healthy air.
Ecological Solid Waste Management Act or R.A. 9003
The Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, otherwise known as Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9003, an act providing for an ecological solid waste management program, creating the necessary institutional mechanics and incentives, declaring certain acts prohibited and providing penalties, approaching funds therefore, and for other purposes.
